Hello. Today I was watching US Open ladies doubles tennis on TSN. After a while, I had to ask myself why I was watching. I concluded this program was irrelevant to me.
Why? I do enjoy watching different kinds of sports. However, there are now very few sports that I have a rooting interest in. I did not care who won this match. In fact, I switched on Law and Order at 1pm.
I don't play tennis, so I can't use the excuse I was trying to pick up strategy for my next match.
I also didn't know any of the players. Again, that isn't a requirement for something I want to watch, but it is a requirement if it's something I have little interest in.
In short I was watching it because it happened to be on TSN when I turned it on. It could have been anything, and I would've watched for a little while. And that's why this program was irrelevant.
