Hello. So, let me get this straight. Kenny Perry makes playing in the Ryder Cup in Kentucky his main golf goal for 2008. He then goes and wins a couple of tournaments, suddenly putting himself as one of the top PGA Tour players. Next he doesn't try to qualify for the US Open, even though he's on a roll. He also skips the British Open, saying he doesn't want to go over, and that he already committed for the Wisconson event that same week. He plays 18 holes of the PGA Championship, then withdraws because he can't recover after scratching his eye with a contact lens the night before.
He plays in the Ryder Cup, wins with the rest of the US team, then feels compelled to play the next week at the Tour Championship, and complains about it? After only playing 18 holes in the 2008 majors, why go to the Tour Championship? Why not party in Kentucky, like you wanted to?
Kenny Perry was an irrelevant Tour Championship attendee. No one knew or cared he was there, because no one cared about the Fedex Cup. He should've stayed home.
